Christ Lutheran Church and School offers Clinical Counseling services at the Costa Mesa campus as a site of Journeys Counseling Ministry.
Our on-site counselor can provide sessions for children ages 5 and up, adolescents, adults of all ages, and couples. She has experience with a variety of mental health needs, including trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, family disruption, ADHD and learning disabilities.
Additionally, referrals can be provided to other Journeys sites and counselors as needed.

meet Leah Tornow
Leah strives to create a welcoming and empathetic space for clients to explore their current life situations, gain insight into past experiences, heal from emotional wounds, and develop their strengths and coping skills. Leah believes in the power of a safe and trusting relationship and values a collaborative approach to goal-setting.
Leah has extensive experience working with children, especially those struggling with ADHD, learning disabilities, anxiety, school problems, and social or behavioral challenges. She also enjoys working with adolescents, adults of all ages, and couples.
Leah incorporates Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples and individuals, Attachment-based therapy, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment therapy) and Psychodynamic approaches within a Christ-centered worldview. When working with children, she enjoys play therapy, sand tray, and skills-based approaches. She considers it a privilege to walk alongside you in your path to healing and wholeness.
