Program Hours
The School Age Care Program is open from 7:00 am until 6:00 pm, Monday – Friday.
Program
We have a structured program that allows for choices which help your child grow to learn accountability for their decisions. Each day your child will have the opportunity to choose from activities such as Makerspace arts & crafts, study hall, sports, free play, games and more. Parents may request that their child attend Study Hall each day to work on completing their homework.
The program aims to carry over the nurturing and creative learning environment that the children have experienced during their school day here at Christ Lutheran. We realize that we are dealing with a changing society with dual family situations, single parenting, etc. It is our goal to run a program that helps the parent or caregiver, the teachers, and most importantly the child.
Staffing
The School Age Care Program is headed by our Director, Tracy Colyer, and staffed with college-age students. Most of our staff are alumni of our programs, who enjoyed themselves and wish to share their talents with a new generation of students. Our team undergoes regular training on working with children, as well as First Aid and CPR training. They have also passed background checks through the Department of Justice.
Enrollment
We are very flexible in attendance and offer monthly plans for before and after school, as well as occasional care plans, and holiday camps. There is a yearly registration fee of $40 per child or $75 for families.
