A message from our Principal...

Welcome to Christ Lutheran Church and School where our mission is to partner with parents to educate the whole child spiritually, academically, emotionally and physically in a Christ-centered environment. We are blessed to have you partner with us to enrich children’s lives and develop character traits that inspire them to be active and impactful in the community.

Christ Lutheran students experience the excitement of learning and are fostered to be curious and grow in their God-given talents. Children live in a world full of discovery, innovations, and new accomplishments. They are guided to think for the future. Building confidence through encouragement, they study the life and teachings of Jesus and realize He not only made an impact on the world—He changed the world, forever! Through His birth, death and resurrection, He paid the price for our sins and promised eternal life to all who believe. We provide positive learning in an honoring Christian environment to equip students with the beneficial skills of sharing their love, joy, and knowledge with others. Our hope is for students to become passionate Christian leaders who proclaim the love of Jesus.

Christ Lutheran seeks parent partnerships as we work closely together in the growth and development of children. Parents who take an active interest in the education of their child by supporting the learning process, reinforce what is taught in school.

We have passionate teachers who are talented at inspiring children through exciting experiences that motivate and support active learning in the classroom. Students will be encouraged to appreciate their unique abilities and connect with the world around them. May God bless us beyond our imagination and guide us as we fulfill the responsibility of growing children to be noble Knights for Christ.

Robbie Bouslaugh

Robbie Bouslaugh is an experienced educator who has served in a variety of roles over the past 15 years, including positions as an elementary classroom teacher, a student behavior specialist, and a building principal in both public and private schools. He has been recognized as a distinguished educator by his peers and has earned a master’s degree in teaching from Concordia University (Portland) and an administration credential from Portland State University. His goal as an educator is to help foster a passion for learning where students are challenged and reach their God given potential.

Robbie moved to Orange County in July of 2020. Before then he and his family were long-time residents of Portland, Oregon. He met his wife, Megan, at Warner Pacific College where they each were religion and Christian ministries majors. They have two children, Amelia and Cedar, and one dog named Jingle Bell.

In his free time he enjoys being outside where he may be playing disc golf, practicing sports with his kids, or going on walks with his wife.

Kristie Flohra

Director of Preschool

Kristie Flohra serves as Preschool Director at Christ Lutheran Preschool in Costa Mesa, California. She has over 20 years of experience in Lutheran education and has taught grade levels ranging from preschool through middle school. She also served for many years as assistant principal at her previous school before accepting the position of preschool director. She has a passion for curriculum and a strong desire to equip students and teachers with the necessary skills to succeed! Kristie’s undergraduate degree is from Cal State University, Fullerton, and she earned her professional clear credential and Masters in Education with an emphasis in Curriculum from Concordia University, Irvine. Additionally, Kristie serves as a WASC Accreditation Commissioner and as the District Accreditation Commissioner for PSD Lutheran Schools. Kristie also serves on the Curriculum and Assessment Task Force for the Pacific Southwest District.
